A concrete description of every deliverable you receive when you commission a bot from The Atelier.
A standard engagement begins with a strategy intake session where we document your entry and exit conditions, the instruments and sessions you trade, and your risk parameters — maximum daily drawdown, position sizing method, and any session kill-switches. We then code the strategy in MQL4 or MQL5, run a minimum 24-month backtest on tick data, and return a 12-page backtest report covering net P&L, maximum drawdown, average trade duration, and win/loss distribution. Once you approve the backtest results, we deploy the bot to a cloud VPS and connect it to your broker account via MetaTrader. You receive a monitoring dashboard link and a 30-day post-launch support window for parameter adjustments.
Six defined deliverables across every engagement, regardless of tier.
A structured intake form and 60-minute video call to capture your rules, instruments, risk limits, and session preferences. We document everything before any code is written, so there are no misunderstandings at delivery.
Your strategy is coded in the MetaTrader scripting language by a developer who has written over 80 commercial Expert Advisors. Code is commented, version-controlled, and handed to you as part of the deliverable package.
We run the EA against a minimum of 24 months of tick data from Dukascopy or your broker's historical feed. The backtest report — 12 pages, PDF — is sent before any live deployment decision is made.
The production bot runs on a cloud VPS in Johannesburg or Frankfurt, chosen for lowest latency to your broker. Uptime is monitored continuously; you receive an alert if the VPS or MetaTrader terminal goes offline.
A clean, forest-cream interface showing live position status, cumulative P&L, current drawdown level, and the timestamp and price of the bot's last executed signal. Accessible from any device.
Thirty days of included support after go-live: parameter adjustments, broker re-connection, and bug fixes at no extra charge. After 30 days, ongoing support is available on a monthly retainer or per-incident basis.
“The backtest report The Atelier delivered before we went live was the clearest document I have received from any technical vendor. Twelve pages, every metric explained, and a frank section on where the strategy historically struggled. That transparency built my confidence before a single live trade was taken.”

Every bot we deploy enforces the risk limits you set — they cannot be bypassed at runtime.
We treat risk controls as a first-class engineering concern, not an afterthought. Before coding begins, we agree on three hard limits: a maximum lot size per trade, a maximum concurrent open positions count, and a daily drawdown ceiling expressed as a percentage of account equity. These values are hard-coded into the bot's logic and cannot be overridden while the bot is running. If the daily drawdown ceiling is reached, the bot suspends trading and sends you an email alert. You decide whether to resume the following session. This architecture removes the possibility of a runaway bot compounding losses through a volatile session.
